The Empire State Winter Games at Titus Mountain
In Ski and Snowboard Big Air, competitors each take two runs over a single jump performing their best tricks, which are then judged by a panel of three judges. Open class competitors compete in a qualification round, and the top finishers advance to a best-of-two run final to determine the winners.
In Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle, competitors each take two runs on a course consisting of up to five freestyle features including rails, boxes, and jumps, performing their best tricks, which are then judged by a panel of three judges. In age class competition, the athlete with the best score, based on overall impression, wins. In Open class, competitors may compete in a qualification round (based on number of entrants), and the top finishers advance to a best-of-two run final to determine the winners.
Register for your sport online at www.empirestatewintergames.com. The cost is $50 for each age class competition and $75 for each Open class entry.
Thanks to the terrain and lodge layout, Titus Mountain has a natural amphitheater that will allow family and friends of athletes, as well as spectators, a chance to see the competition like never before! It's an event you don't want to miss!
PLUS Glass Onion hits the stage in the lodge from 5 to 9 p.m.!
